You can cover it up with better detailed terrain, new parts for you creatures and buildings, playing as an epic, new UI, but in the end, it is still just a mediocre game strung together with mediocre gameplay elements where you walk up to a group of creatures whose primary purpose is to stay in one spot for their entire life and either dance with visitors or be killed.
